Christie Fleming is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Chicken of the Sea. In this role, Christie directs all marketing related functions of the Company. She has 20 years of demonstrated success in consumer packaged goods and extensive experience in using insights to build brands while substantially growing revenue and profit.

Christie is also currently a Strategic Advisor for Pipeline Pet Products, LLC. Pipeline Pet Products offer the consumer naturally healthy treats and food for their beloved pets.

Prior to joining Chicken of the Sea, Christie was the General Manager, Senior Vice President for Central Garden & Pet, a leading innovator, marketer, and producer of quality branded products for the lawn & garden and pet supplies market. Christie was responsible for leading all general business strategy and marketing initiatives for their Nutrition and Equine business units.

Christie spent 10 years at Del Monte Foods, prior to Central Garden & Pet. In her most recent role at Del Monte, she led the Pet Treats business unit as Vice President Marketing, General Manager. In this role, she profitably grew iconic brands like Milk-Bone and Pup-Peroni, and won two Effies for business-building advertising campaigns. During her time at Del Monte, she also managed business on the human food side, including the billion dollar Del Monte brand.

Prior to Del Monte, Christie spent 4 years in Procter and Gamble’s marketing organization, with her last position as Brand Manager, Always, one of P&G’s billion dollar brands.

She received her BA in Marketing & Spanish (1994) and her MBA in Marketing (1997) from the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Arizona, respectively.
